The Haydon Wick Community was regrettably unable to come together to commemorate the ultimate sacrifice of service men and women on Sunday 08 November 2020.
Due to Covid-19 and government guidelines, the parade and the Haydon Wick Council wreath-laying was unable to take place. Instead, the Council’s Chairman laid a wreath on the communities behalf, after a two minute silence at 11am on Remembrance Sunday. This mark of respect was shared with the community on social media.
To mark Remembrance Sunday we invited local primary school children to get involved with our community Poppy wall.
