Council launches ‘Keep Swindon Tidy’ Poster Competition

Council launches ‘Keep Swindon Tidy’ Poster Competition 1900 1200 Caroline Hunt

As part of forming our partnership working with Keep Swindon Tidy and Plastic Free Swindon, and in a bid to help to keep the Parish tidy, the Council has decided to reach out to the local schools within our community and via our social media platforms to run a competition for designing an Anti-Litter poster. This is not just a competition, there is also an element of co-operation, by increasing the awareness of littering and the issues that this can cause within a local community. The posters will be displayed across the Parish to encourage the community to keep the parish tidy and we are not just limited to one!

Posters can include any aspect of litter, the effects litter has on wildlife, encouraging people to take litter home or use the nearest public bins. We look forward to seeing some of your innovative designs.

Please email entries to by the 19th February 2021 for your chance to win a prize. Include the name, age and contact details of the artist.
