Christmas Greetings from the Chairman of the Council

Christmas Greetings from the Chairman of the Council 2016 1134 Georgina Morgan-Denn

Dear Residents,

As the year draws to a close and frosty mornings greet us, may I take this opportunity, as Chairman of Haydon Wick Parish Council, to extend my warmest greetings to you all.

This year has had its fair share of ups and downs as we’ve witnessed some wonderful community events whilst dealing with a few challenges to our hedges and shrub maintenance this year. These highs and lows have shown both the enthusiasm and resilience of our parish.

I’m particularly proud of our commitment to increase communication and transparency with our residents this year. The initiative to publish our Parks and Open spaces grounds maintenance schedules has resulted in improvements to how we communicate with you and our service delivery. We will be working hard to ensure our service levels remain on track next year.

While festivities and celebrations might not be everyone’s cup of tea, this time of year offers a natural pause for reflection and appreciation. Whether you’re taking a well-deserved break, enjoying cherished traditions, or simply finding moments of joy amidst the everyday, I encourage you to embrace the spirit of connection and kindness.

With the promise of a fresh start on the horizon, I am confident that 2024 holds exciting possibilities for Haydon Wick. I know that together, we can continue to make our parish a place we choose to make home.

On behalf of Haydon Wick Parish Council, I wish you all a season filled with peace, joy, and a renewed sense of hope. May the coming months bring you good health, laughter, and cherished moments of shared connection.

With warmest regards,

Vinay Manro
Chairman, Haydon Wick Parish Council
