About Your Council

Haydon Wick Parish Council is responsible for developing the local community in much of North Swindon.  The parish  boundary has approximately 22,000 residents who live in Haydon Wick, Greenmeadow, Haydon View, Woodhall Park, Western Moredon, Abbey Meads, Haydon End, Taw Hill and Oakhurst.

Haydon Wick Parish Council has 18 Councillors, who are elected to represent one of two wards that make up the parish, namely Haydon Wick Ward and Haydon End Ward. There is an even split of nine Councillors in each ward. Councillors are elected to serve a period of four years. The last election was held in May 2019 and the next elections are scheduled to take place in May 2023.

The Council’s aim is to promote the parish of Haydon Wick as an independent and vibrant urban community.

The objectives are to offer quality services based upon the needs of its community, to support its staff and value the delivery of the services to residents.

The Council is committed to providing efficient community leadership for a sustainable future for everyone in Haydon Wick.
