Mouldon Hill Country Park
This Parish Council is proud to have Mouldon Hill Country Park within its boundary. The park is situated just off Thamesdown Drive opposite Taw Hill junction and next to Oakhurst. The overall ownership remains with Swindon Borough Council, but some of the maintenance of the area is carried out by the Parish Council.
The park features several footpaths and walkways, making it an ideal location for walks with family, friends, and dogs. The park is particularly popular during the summer months for picnics and enjoying the open green space. There is a free car park on site, allowing visitors to enjoy the park at their leisure, although vehicle height restrictions apply. The Council provides public litter bins and dog waste bins throughout the park to help keep the area neat and tidy.
Please note: Fires and disposable barbecues are prohibited at Mouldon Hill Country Park.
Don’t forget to stop off at Galloway Play Area that is within close proximity to complete a fun day at the lake!
Swindon Borough Council has some extensive plans to enhance the area which the Parish Council will be involved in to develop the needs of its community.
