Supporting the young people of Haydon Wick to achieve their goals is an important priority for Haydon Wick Parish Council. In November 2020 the Council welcomed Chloe, a dedicated youth worker to the team.

Summer Youth Activity Sessions

Haydon Wick Parish Council and local charity BEST (Be A Better You) are launching a free Haydon Wick Summer Youth Programme! The activity sessions are fully inclusive, and will provide a positive environment and skills development opportunities for young people during the summer holidays.  The weekly 3 hour sessions will include team building exercises, non-contact boxing drills and skills, non-contact freestyle martial arts and group games. All sessions will be supervised by expert coaches and youth workers.

  • Where: Haydon Wick Parish Council Offices
  • When: Friday 30 July, Friday 6th, 13th, 20th & 27th August 2021
  • Time: 1.00pm – 4.00pm
  • Ages 11 – 16 years
  • Fully inclusive sessions
  • Refreshments will be provided
  • A MEDICAL & CONSENT form must be returned to to secure a space on the session
  • Book your space on the session for free on Eventbrite

FREE Football Skills Sessions

Haydon Wick Parish Council is teaming up with local community football group Allstarz to provide FREE football skills sessions for youngsters in Haydon Wick. Any resident, aged 7 – 11 years old is welcome to join our Youth Worker and the Allstarz coaching team for these sessions, the more the merrier!
