Mental Health at Christmas

Mental Health at Christmas 800 800 Georgina Morgan-Denn

The lead up to Christmas can be a hard time for many people. Studies have shown that by not talking about how you are feeling can have a hugely negative impact on your mental health.

Haydon Wick Parish Council is offering a Warm Space drop in, every Monday and Friday from 11.00am – 1.00pm until Friday 31st March 2023. Our large meeting room is open to come in from the cold weather, grab some warm refreshments more importantly, have a chat.

On Saturday 17th December our Christmas Parcels will be making their way to many of our residents who are over 70 years of age and who live alone. This scheme provides not only essential food products but a moment of important interaction for some residents who may not see anyone else over the festive period.

If you are struggling with your mental health at the moment, never feel afraid to reach out.
