This December, Haydon Wick Parish Council invites you to a spectacular Christmas Carnival that will transform the heart of our community into a winter wonderland of joy, laughter, and festive cheer!​
Picture this: streets alive with the enchanting sights and sounds of talented performers, a dazzling community light parade illuminating the night, and a charming mini Christmas market filled with local treasures. It’s not just an event; it’s a celebration of everything that makes Haydon Wick special.​
Why a Christmas Carnival, you ask? Well, your enthusiasm for our summer festivities sparked an idea. We listened to your feedback and thought, “Why should the fun stop when the leaves fall?” So, we’re bringing the magic of the season right to your doorstep!​
​This carnival is our way of kickstarting the holiday season with a bang. It’s a chance for our local schools, community groups, and neighbours to come together and shine. From carollers to craft stalls, every participant adds a unique thread to the tapestry of our Haydon Wick family.​

Be part of history at the first-ever Haydon Wick Christmas Carnival Light Parade! We’re inviting community groups to help launch what we hope will become a much loved annual event.
Illuminate the night with your own unique umbrella light displays as we bring festive cheer to our streets. The first 20 groups to sign up will receive a free craft pack to create their twinkling masterpieces. As you walk the Haydon Wick Star parade route, your luminous creations will set the standard for years to come. Let your imagination shine – prizes will be awarded for the most creative light decorations!
