Our Parks & Open Spaces Team has been hard at work keeping our community beautiful!
Here’s what we’ve been up to:
🚗 Oberon Lane
- Car park area tidied up
- Overgrown hedges trimmed
🌿 Grass Cutting
- Currently in Queen Elizabeth, Thursday Street, Friday Street
- Moving to Oakhurst early next week
✂️ Hedge Cutting
- Tractor and side arm hire extended for 3 months (Sept-Nov)
- Seasonal workers’ contracts extended
- Continuous cycle maintenance – next up, Abbey Meads areas to be revisited
🛝 Parks & Projects
- Repairs made to White Eagle Play Area unit
- Graffiti removed at Heaton Close Play Area
