Following extensive requests from residents for an Outdoor Gym, Haydon Wick Parish Council is excited to announce an agreed budget of £50,000.00 to make it happen as part of the Council’s project plans for 2025/2026.
The proposed location, subject to permission from Swindon Borough Council, is at White Eagle Play Area, Haydon End.
The proposal is that two small pieces of equipment at Primrose Close Play Area (200m away from White Eagle) will also be relocated to White Eagle Play Area to help create a ‘family hub’ suitable for all ages and abilities.

The proposed tender document will be advertised on the public contracts finder website from Monday 24th March 2025, inviting companies to apply and deliver the project as soon as September 2025.
