Haydon Wick Parish Council’s fleet of grounds maintenance vehicles have had a total refresh with brand new livery. This includes the addition of two new electric vehicles which were recently acquired.
The electric vehicles take the Parish Council a further step towards one of its strategic aims of being carbon neutral, and to deliver a green and sustainable place within the next five years. The vehicles are charged daily at the Council Offices, which also has an existing solar PV array of panels on the roof of the building.
The livery for one of these electric vehicles has kindly been sponsored by N & B Foods Ltd who generously donated £300 towards the design and installation of the clean and bright branding panels.
The Director of N&B Foods, Nilesh Chavda said:
“As a local Swindon employer through N&B foods Ltd and a Haydon Wick resident, it gives me great pleasure to be able to help keep our local community clean and tidy.”
The vehicles are already out and about doing important grounds maintenance tasks and helping to keep the Parish clean and tidy for its residents. The reduced size of the vehicles will improve efficiency within the team, as they can be driven along footpaths so travelling time between site visits is reduced.
