Road Improvement Works: Important Notice
The Highways Department of Swindon Borough Council will be conducting essential road surface restoration works beginning Friday, 21st February 2025.
Project Objectives:
– Enhance road surface quality
– Improve safety for road users
– Extend infrastructure lifespan
Work Schedule:
– Duration: 5 working nights
– Hours: 19:00 to 06:00
– Location: A4198 Thamesdown Drive heading west.
Key Information:
– Temporary road closure will be in effect
– Clearly marked diversion routes will be provided
– Traffic Marshals will be present throughout the works

Blue badge holders directly impacted by the works are advised to contact the council to discuss individual access arrangements.
